Once long ago I was in the darkness. It consumed me completely. Each time a source of light came into my life...They ended up exiting my life seeing the darkness was too great within me...Until a few select people came into my life and brought me a bright light. Oddly enough I was bringing them light while being consumed by this great darkness...light they never really had before...with that I came out of the darkness. Those people that became a constant in my life made the darkness go away...For the most part. I wrote a poem in a moment of pure light and gave myself a mission...To be the beacon of light to all that need to be brought out of the darkness..I keep my light bringers close to me to stay in the light. I never wish to be consumed by darkness again. I won't lie, even tho' I'm in the light I still have the attitude that comes with being in the darkness. My light bringers wish I didn't have that attitude. I'm working to change that. They know it won't go away overnight but one has seen some change and is proud of me. They both have told me I am to be a great person someday. I'm grateful that I have such supportive people in my life bringing me light...
